Thanks for the reminders.
It seems so simple but it can really make a difference. I once forgot to check my propane levels for my stove and when I got to my campground (5hours later) I had no propane to cook with.
I learned a lesson that day.

Thanks

Picnics are frequently overlooked and are really enjoyable. What better way to enjoy the outdoors, family and a great meal? My favorite is fried chicken and potato salad. It's easy to pack and tastes great.

Your are right, going to a store and trying a tent out for size is the best way. It worked for us. Took grand kids to try out ours. Had fun doing it.

It was a excitement discovering your site yesterday. I arrived here today hoping to discover new things. I was not dissatisfied. Your ideas in new strategies on this subject matter were topical and a wonderful help to me. Thank you for creating time to write out these things plus for sharing your thoughts.

I liked your article but more important, I liked your little box below that warned people about the hazards of fire in a tent. I am amazed that tents offer places to hang lanterns - I would NEVER hang any type of lantern in a tent - 1) I am extremely paranoid regarding fire having watched my jeep cherokee burn completely up in front of me, 2) its just not good common sense!! (Duh!) There are large flashlights made for camping out.

Great tips for camping!
