Thanks for the reminders.
It seems so simple but it can really make a difference. I once forgot to check my propane levels for my stove and when I got to my campground (5hours later) I had no propane to cook with.
I learned a lesson that day.

Thanks

It was a excitement discovering your site yesterday. I arrived here today hoping to discover new things. I was not dissatisfied. Your ideas in new strategies on this subject matter were topical and a wonderful help to me. Thank you for creating time to write out these things plus for sharing your thoughts.

I used to go with my then husband when he was in charge of the local Boy Scout troop. Being from north Texas, we did not camp in July and August. So getting ready for that September campout was exactly as you said on the spring campout. And getting the boys to clean their pans with forgotten food stuff, well it was fun. Remember the Boy Scout motto, "Be Prepared".

Great list. I Like to lay out all my camping gear and inspect it at the begining of season. No matter how well you store your gear it does wear out.

It is better to find out you need to replace or make repairs before you go camping.

Proper planning is essential to a successful camping adventure.
